Check a number of different sources for the same information, or ask your parents or teacher for advice.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stay sharp!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Reading e-mails and messages from people you don\u2019t know or opening attachments they\u2019ve sent you (documents, pictures and videos) could be dangerous \u2013 they may contain viruses, be illegal or contain content which is inappropriate for someone your age.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Think twice!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>People don\u2019t always turn out to be the way they seem online. Meeting someone in real life who you only know over the Internet is something you have to think about carefully \u2013 and something you should only do with your parents\u2019 consent, and taking a friend with you.
